What Local Mums Say About Our Pregnancy Yoga Classes

I'm coming towards the end of my first block of pregnancy yoga classes with Sam and will absolutely be continuing, it's become such a lovely part of my week. It's so nice to hear the stories of other women going through the same thing and just to take an hour every week to relax and focus on me and bump. Sam is great and I'd highly recommend going to her classes!

— Leah Daly

I started classes with the Yogi Tribe around 20 weeks into my pregnancy and loved and looked forward to every single week! Fast forward to now having a 4 month old as he and I go to mum and baby yoga every Tuesday, which is the perfect mix of baby yoga and enrichment and mummy time, and we love it so much.

— Isabella Giannotto

"I love my yogi tribe, pregnancy yoga classes helped me so much to relax and stretch out my anxieties and meet amazing people. I looked forward to seeing Sammi and sam each week. Sammi’s pregnancy yoga classes have been such a lovely part of my pregnancy. They offer a gentle stretch, relaxation, and also useful information. By the time I attended my antenatal classes, I already felt more knowledgeable and prepared thanks to what I’d learned. Thank you to Sammi and MyYogiTribe for creating such a supportive space!

— Linzi Deane

"Currently 31 weeks pregnant, no experience with yoga, and completed my first My Yogi Tribe class last night. Loved every second. Sammi was great and ensured a slow pace for beginners to follow along with ease. Lovely group of women too. So empowering. Excited for the next 5 classes" 🥰

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question before booking your first class? Here are some answers to the most common questions from mums-to-be.

When can I start pregnancy yoga?

We recommend you wait until your 12 week scan before starting classes.

Are the classes PAYG/drop in?

No they are block based. However we do offer trials for £13 so that you can see if it's a good fit before committing to a block. Then they are blocks of 6 classes for £75. There is some flexibility within the blocks, they don't have to be consecutive but I do need to know your 6 dates at the time of booking and missed classes are not carried over.

Do your blocks start on certain dates?

No we have rolling blocks, meaning you can join us any week we have space. Once you join in a block you are guaranteed your space until you want to give it up.

Do the weeks need to be consecutive in the block?

Ideally yes, but we know life gets busy and you may have pre arranged plans. So if at the time of booking you let us know the dates you can’t make we can block them out and add them to the end of the block for you. If you miss a class that hasn’t been pre booked out, due to illness or unforeseen circumstances I'm afraid they aren’t carried over. However where we can we will offer you an alternate class in the same week where there is space. We also have online videos that you can do at home to catch up.

How long can I attend your class before birth?

All the way up until you have your baby! We have ladies coming to class past their due date, as long as you feel able to you’re welcome to attend as long as you like. (There is a pay as you go option towards the end of pregnancy)

Do I need a yoga mat?

No! We provide the mats for you and will have them all laid out for your arrival - so no awkward moments trying to find a space. If you have a mat that you would prefer to use you're more than welcome to bring it and swap mine out or even double up.

I've never done yoga before is that ok?

Yes, pregnancy yoga is slow and easy to follow. The majority of ladies who come have never done yoga before so you're in good company.

I have PGP/Sciatica can I still come?

Yes! Often pregnancy yoga will help ease PGP and Sciatic pain and keep you moving. We will adjust some of the movements for you depending on how bad your symptoms are. If your pain is severe it may aggravate it but this is quite rare.
